ramblings from a close friend of mine, I've let him use my CB call sign (low flying pilot), but lfp1's views are all his own, and you may need to be sitting when you read them ...

A post from lfp1, … a story of dreams and trust,
… and visions and goals,
…. And,

If you’ve ever heard the hum of an engine running smoothly at high revs,
Just below its top cruising speed
If it’s echoed in waves and faint pulses across the corners
Of your soft cuddly dream
Then maybe a low flying pilot has come to tickle your consciousness
To rouse your slumbering senses
To pry you up gently from your warm cocoon
And to take you on a trip

You won’t know where it will lead until you surrender
And flow, and choose, and go
Go with him now into the night
In a rig built for cruising
Into the star speckled night, cut with the curved arc of a star
Falling fast
Onwards and upwards, first on roads of stone and tar
Then on tracks that lead afar
That twist and turn from star to star
Full of country old yet somehow new
Full of mirth and things askew

Just wheels of light has this machine
It travels light, it travels lean
‘Til journeys end is there, in sight
But wait, the pilot tilts the wings
The engine pitch both roars and sings
We’re coming in; our speed’s so great
A breakfast’s spread, he’ll not be late
The tarmac’s met and rubber crushes
Rolls and flattens, scenery rushes

Where are you now, what distant shore?
When you awake, will you know more?
What has happened as you slumbered?
Tossed and turned, stretched and tumbled
Has he cruised into your dream?
To show you ways you’ve not yet seen
That lfp, that sneaky soul
Has played his tricks
You’re there,
you’re whole.

Montyp1, This time I must really say that you are a poet and a builder; yes, a builder of dreams and a poet of hearts.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
